483 candidates have been recommended for appointment to the post in the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India.

SSC had conducted a competitive examination for recruitment to this post in November 2008.
A total of 2,24,420 candidates registered for the examination. 1678 candidates qualified in the written examination for appearing in the interview held last month.
